Canadian exporter, Husky Injection Molding Systems expands its reach into the African continent with help from Elevate Export Finance corp.


Elevate Export Finance corp. (Elevate) is pleased to announce new funding for Husky Injection Molding Systems (the exporter) new seven-figure customer sale of a new PET preform production system to Sky Industries Nigeria Limited (the buyer). Elevate, who has a strong and growing partnership with Husky, is proud to be supporting the continued growth of this innovative International Canadian company.


Sky Industries is a Nigerian based company, which specializes in the production of multi-layer plastic films. With specific focus on the beverage industry, they have been steadily growing their operations and product lines. The purchase of new equipment from Husky will increase their capacity and enable them to meet growing demand. For Husky, this is a new strategic customer and it provides them with the opportunity to expand this relationship and overall presence in Africa in the face of stiff competition from Sky’s existing Italian supplier.


Elevate provided critical and timely financing for Husky, which enabled them to secure the sale. Francisco Garica, head of business development for Elevate said, “this is a great story for Elevate and Husky. After a successful online conference in Africa, we worked closely with Husky to ensure a timely and competitive bid, which resulted in a winning sale. This seven figure sale was a landmark achievement for us.”
